Description | Corporate Accountability International (formerly Infact) is a membership organization that protects people from irresponsible and dangerous corporate actions around the world.
We've won major victories that have saved lives, set national and international precedents and stopped abuses by corporate giants like Nestle, General Electric and Philip Moris/Altria.
Building on our recent success in securing a global tobacco treaty, we have launched a campaign to protect the human right to water and have been leading strategic education and visibility programs around Big Oil and food and agribusiness corporations.
We are working to protect the air we breathe, the water we drink and the beautiful places we visit in coordination with our US base of members and our national and international allies.
We believe that limiting corporate influence in national and international policymaking is critical to strengthening democracy.
