| Description | SSRC is one of the world's premier research institutions, mobilizing publicly-spirited research since 1923. We organize leading scholars and practitioners to engage a broad range of issues in depth, to generate new knowledge for informed public choices. A transnational organization, we also build research capacity in the developing world and worldwide epistemic networks. Our programs include peace and security, HIV/AIDS, migration, IT, human rights, globalization, and humanitarian emergencies, among others.
