Description From November 19-21, 2003, trade ministers from every country in Latin America (with the exception of Cuba) will gather in Miami, Florida for negotiations to expand the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) to 31 countries in the hemisphere. Civilians from many nations will also arrive in Miami to influence the negotiations while showcasing the breadth and diversity of the fair trade movement in North America. Events already in process include: musical celebrations, a rally/march , educational conferences and workshops; all of which allow civil society to openly examine the corporate managed trade agenda and articulate an alternative vision.
