| Description | The Southwest Network for Environmental and Economic Justice is a bi-national network of grassroots community, labor and student organizations in the United States and Mexico. The Southwest Network's Global Justice project is a strategy to build alliances along the U.S.-Mexico border and to strengthen organizing efforts in the region to overcome the consequences of global economic and trade policies. The plan includes participation and community events associated with the 2004 World Trade Organization and Free Trade of the Americas ministerial meetings. |
