| Description | The Joint undertaking for social transformation, individual and community empowerment. The Justice Lobby is a 501(C)4 organization, and was created to provide a broad, effective, united, political voice to demand basic changes in human rights, and the prison system, the outdated laws which support and maintain it, and the social order which tolerates it.
We come from a number of religious and spiritual backgrounds, all of which teach respect for every human being and the obligation to care for the poor, the sick, and the imprisoned. We are wearied of being a "voice in the wilderness" about prison and social reforms in a country that has created and encouraged one of the world's most deliberately vicious prison environments. We have also allowed more money spent on penal farms than our schools, universities, and domestic programs for children and seniors in need. With your help, The Justice Lobby will provide the necessary voice, loud and clear to be heard by all. We invite you to join for $5.00 a year, and to make your most generous donation possible.
